Signs around Ireland and in particular Dublin

Well I know before I go on that this is not strictly related to Palmerstown....but need to let off steam....has anyone noticed how appalling the road signs are in this country.. I absolutely defy anyone to follow the signs to the airport from Dublin....its an impossible task,,,,,if you start to follow that little airport sign,,,,it appears and then suddenly its gone...nothing...no signs just stops...you are meant to know which way to go,,,,even me with some local knowledge of Dublin got lost...how in the name of God are tourists supposed to get to the airport,,,,unless they use a taxi,,,,and then again it may be a conspiracy to get taxi drivers work,,,,and don't start me on them....

Taxi Drivers.....Now there is a thread that could run and run and run....they are the bane of any normal intelligent and careful driver on the road....Not only do they have a blatant disregard for other users on the road,,,as well as ignoring everyday things like traffic lights, road markings or indeed any other highway codes that us mere mortals have to obey....but they also rip you off for the privelege in doing so..


*It may appear harsh to paint them all with the one brush....but I have found that at least 98 % are like this
