Gardaí in Galway are investigating a suspected pepper-spray attack that forced the evacuation of a cinema in the city last night.
More than 500 people were escorted from the Eye Cinema after many customers began coughing.
Gardaí are investigating possible links to the use of pepper spray during a separate incident in the Salthill area yesterday.
A man in his early 20s was arrested in connection with that incident, but has since been released without charge pending instructions from the DPP.
