can anyone help me with a quick query; i want to buy a car and i am not sure what way the new tax system is going to work with higher co2 ommisions being taxed more? so what type of car should i avoid, i have been told to stay away from petrol cars between 1.4 ltr / 2 ltr. can anyone confirm this. i dont trust car sales person to give me the correct info as all they want to do is sell their cars. thanks

Depends on when your buying, my understanding is that if the car is bought before june this year it is exempt from the new car tax system.
