Ryan Babel is out for the Dutch. Injured his ankle ligaments in training. Dutch are trying to call up a replacement to the squad.

Arjen Robben looks like taking his place in the team as he scored today against Wales.

Only six days to go now. If its only half as exciting as Palmerstown United's mini Euros then it will be some tournament. The Finals are this Saturday on the Gaels at 11.00 maybe Byrner may make an appearance :)

Well no-one has picked the Germans in our poll and they look the most accomplished team (so far) thought Portugal werent bad.

My Predictions were;

Swiss - Czech 1-1 (actual score 0-1)
Portugal - Turkey 2-0 (2-0)
Croatia - Austria 1-0 (1-0)
Germany - Poland 2-0 (2-0)
three outta four and the swiss were robbed

Predictions for today and tomorrow;

Italy - Holland 1-1 (0-3)
Romania - France 1-1 (0-0)
Spain - Russia 3-0
Sweden - Greece 2-2

Although the Germans did look good at times, there as bad as the Portugese for diving. And for that reason I hope Germany dont win, I think it will be either Spain or Italy that wins it.

After watching the Germans last night i am convinced they will win the championship again. Spain will falter as they do not play to Torres strenghes as for Portugal well all will depend on bighead Ronaldo if he plays like he always does against the big teams then they have no chance.I see Italy as the biggest

Anyway Shirl you dont know what its like. The pressure and excitement of TWO matches EVERY day (FOUR matches if its a World Cup). Knowing who's playing, who's not, who's injured, who's crap. Memorising 16 squads of 23 players. Did you know the Italian reserve keeper is called Morgan de Sanctis. What clubs do they play for. Who's on the transfer list. And so on. Its not easy being a man.

No they won't. The Swedes, Italians and Russians all tried the physical approach. The Spanish back four has been surprisingly solid :icon_suspicious: and Marcos Senna in front of them has been their best player IMO. With Fibreglas playing tomorrow I will be at my best, Iniesta and Robert Downey Jnr:) won't pass to me as they dont like Madridlenos. Spain to win 2-1.

As I am 1/8 Saxon, I did have a sneeky bet at the start on a Germany-Spain Final at 8/1. Mange tout.
